My name is Ugo Cirmignani, I am a senior software developer. I enjoy learning new languages and working in the open source world to increase my skills and to create something good for the community.
 
I have started my career since 2000, I have been working in some open source and freeware software projects during my studies, in 2001 I have owned a very popular website regarding the internet security.

In 2005 I have started my career as an embedded Linux software engineer and windows desktop application software developer working for some popular semiconductor industries.

As part time job I have worked with a SEO company and to some computer vision software for the automatic form corrections.


In 2014 I have switched from the semiconductor industries to the marine industries working on innovative maneuver systems as an embedded linux software developer.

From 2022 to 2024 I have worked as a linux kernel software developer in the cybersecurity department of a defense company,

In 2024 I have started working in a big tech.

During my spare time I enjoy creating open source projects, **uFTP server** is one of my favorite project ever, is a very simple and ultra fast **open source FTP server**.
